I definitely never thought I'd live to the day when I would actually admit that I miss my RVDS days.

But I really do miss it sometimes when I realize that I'll never have those days back again.

Is it really sad that I still have a celebrity crush on Bryan Wong?

ABCs of cooking for one!

So, like I mentioned in previous post -- I'm unfortunately, quite lazy -- and it just happens that Mom is on vacation and cannot cook for me.

But I've learnt a few things here and there that makes making meals not so much of a chore :)

1. There are a few dishes that I've realized, that are pretty much impossible to screw up (unless you add too much salt or left the stove on for too long or something -- that I can't help with)

2. Enter the smoothie! Totally foolproof. Just add combination of milk (ice cream and fruit juice make it tastier) and whatever fruit happens to be lying around the house and blend.

Can also add vegetables if one is feeling particularly adventurous ;)

3. Instant noodles and fried rice also belongs to the easy to make category as it takes a great amount of folly to make it inedible. Just make sure to have eggs handy! Once again, I add every kind of vegetable in the house that happens to be in the fridge.

Last time I made noodles I added purple cabbage, bean sprouts and peas. Sounds absolutely disgusting but still ended up tasting pretty yummy.

4. But then, again, I've a high tolerance for my own cooking.

5. Because I'm a health nut when I cook -- have to put lots of vegetables in the dish to make me happy. And usually lots of vegetables in random combination = gross.

6. Meat (really just steak, chops and fish fillets) are incredibly tasty and easy to make as long as you have pepper, garlic salt and a frying pan.

7. And pasta. The alfredo sauce makes everything delicious.

8. I would, however, like to complain about my high pressure cooker. Can't seem to make yummy rice out of it. What the heck is wrong with my combination of cooking time and water to rice ratio?

9. I've decided that a great asset future b/f should have is "likes to cook". Or if he hates it as much as I do, we'll just have to split cooking duties (or hire a chef!) when we move in together (or we can just keep on leeching off at our parents' houses during mealtimes).

10. Quite sure that future b/f will be incredibly hard to find now that all I do is keep adding new qualifications to Mr. Right.

I've realized that I'm a passable cook from my experiences this past week. Despite burning a few things here and there, I seem to be getting the hang of it :)

I don't think I'll ever enjoy cooking though. I'm way too lazy.
Which means making lots of money in the future is imperative if I want to continue on being incorrigibly lazy.

Latest celebrity crush: Zac Efron. Aren't I too old for these things? Apparently not.

summer accomplishments

In a month, I'd be back to school, and I wonder what I've accomplished so far.

I did learn one thing about myself.
That is, I hate being productive in the summer :)

I had a beautiful dream

Will I meet you again?
